An unfairly convicted murderer escapes and finds himself rescued by a mysterious girl who helps him establish a new life in Argentina.  Published anonymously, but written by Basil King, a retired clergyman who turned his hand to writing spiritually-themed novels.  This copy is in good condition: back cover has begun to separate slightly from spine, 1″ tear in cloth over spine, faded gilt lettering on spine, slight bumping to corners, small stamp with previous owner’s name on inside cover (see pics).  Green cloth over boards with gilt lettering and inlaid color picture, interior text bright and unmarked.  Published May, 1910.
